He took his first steps in morld of music as a white voice at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, working since childhood with great conductors and great singers; He is then devoted to the violin. He graduated from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples Angelo Gaudino (pupil of Alberto Curci); He took courses in chamber music and orchestra of Fiesole and Palermo, studying with Giuseppe Prencipe, Angelo Faja for orchestra, Carlo Pozzi, Giacinto Caramia and Trio di Trieste for chamber music, participating in various tours throughout Italy and Europe. He attended the courses of chamber music held by Daniel Gaj and international courses in the Sulmona Trio Tchaikovskij. He studied composition with Bruno Mazzotta and Gioacchino Longobardi.

After his youth experiences with theItalian Orchestra of Fiesole and theSicilian Chamber Orchestra of Palermo, he played with the following orchestras: Professors Alessandro Scarlatti of Naples, Orchestra of the San Carlo Theater of Naples, Philharmonic Orchestra of Naples, Italian International Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Naples, Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Naples, Sophia Festival Orchestra, The Neapolitan Symphony Orchestra.

He has recorded for the Rai the 'Trio in G minor’ of B. Cream and in duo and trio has won numerous national undertaking an intense performance as a soloist in Italy and abroad.

In addition to this, has dedicated years to studying and looking for new songs or just run the School of the eighteenth century Neapolitan music, taking care of the transcript and review, and in collaboration with the International Institute Domenico Scarlatti brought to light many works of this school: the ‘Requiem’of Nicholas Jommelli (Aversa Conference Internazionale'97); the ‘Sinfonia Venice ' of Pasquale Anfossi in which the andante s'evince "Plagiarism Mozart" which reported on its front page "La Stampa" of Turin, the "The Times" of London and all the national and foreign press.

In celebration of the bicentenary of the Neapolitan Revolution 1799, organized and sponsored by the Identity of the City of Naples, oversaw the revision and enforcement of Drama ‘I Pittagorici’ of Giovanni Paisiello and Vincenzo Monti, written to commemorate the victims of the Revolution. For the International Festival of Music 700 Napoletano – Naples 2/12 /99 – sponsored by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, European Parliament and of the Campania Region, has reviewed several unpublished scores, includingConcerto for flute and strings’ of Nicola Logroscino and 3CHORUS from "Sacrifice of Abraham" for choir and organ Domenico Cimarosa, performed at Court Theatre Royal Palace of Naples to recall the famous tenor Ukrainian Anatoli Solovianenko. He discovered, revised and transcribed a Symphony orchestra and for two cents, attributed to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, staged in Paris at the Festival of Music.

He revised and recorded, as first violin of the Chamber Orchestra of Naples, CD ‘Sinfonie Napolitane’, unpublished symphonies of 700 Neapolitan music (Before Concert). Nell’aprile 2004 Hall of Sofia in Bulgaria and has revised the way the 'Solemn Mass in D Major’ of Nicholas Jommelli for only, choir and orchestra with’Sofia Festival Orchestra as first violin and master conductor. In November 2007 He has performed in duo with the Maestro Roberto Gabbiani Scarlatti at the piano in the hall of the Conservatory S. Pietro a Majella in Naples, for the 250Anniversary of the death of Domenico Scarlatti, with a program of sonatas by the famous composer from Naples.

In 2007 was the Concert Master of the Orchestra of Neapolitan Music Society in New York, as well as Artistic Director (by 2007 the 2010) of American society. He has performed in tours in America 2007/8, in various theaters of the city of Albany and New York, the Casa Italian Zerilli-Marimò New York University, e allo ‘Jack H.Skirball Center for the Performing Arts’ (April 2008) at NY come first violin (Concert Master) of the Neapolitan Symphony Orchestra, receiving wide and warm successes.

E’ the Artistic Director dell’Reggina Music Association Domenico Scarlatti in Reggio Calabria and in Rome. From 2006 in 2010 he was the Director of the Polyphonic Choir 'Salvo D’Acquisto’ of Rome, placed under the patronage of the Military for Italy.

In November 2008 was invited by McCallum Fine Arts Academy of Austin, Texas, to hold a masterclass to his youth orchestra (one of the best in Texas and South West), the study, study, the very rare technique and phrasing that produced the famous “Sound of Naples' 700”. The master has ended with a concert by the McCallum Fine Arts Academy Chamber Orchestra at 'The Long Center for the Performing Arts’ Austin, TX,  directed by M ° Gioacchino Longobardi.

In November 2009 Maestro Vitolo was again invited by the McCallum Academy to hold another masterclass to his youth orchestra; in March 2010 is back in America, this time in the city of Albany, invited by Albany High School to hold a master on the '700 Neapolitan to its youth orchestra. The orchestra has performed, at the end of the course, WEHachett the Performing Arts Center in Albany, NY, in a concert on the treasures of the '700 Neapolitan.

In July 2009 participated in the 34th edition of the Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano (Siena) as a composer of music for the show ‘Stabat Mater Actionof Sergio Sivori, director and actor of the Laboratorium Teatro in Rome, with great success with audiences and critics (Journal of Music in July 2009). The show was then performed at the Theater Festival 'Masters of their art’ S. Severina, KR, nell’agosto 2009.

In June 2010 He has performed in a concert of music for the Italian instrumental chamber European Music Festival Rome.

In December 2010 was invited by Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra to hold one masterclass on the Neapolitan eighteenth century, which ended with the concert for New Year's Eve in St. Peter's Church in Saratoga, NY.

He teaches violin at school J. J. Winckelmann in Rome.

From 2015 is also the Musical artistic director of the Roma Youth String Orchestra From Rome, formed by young musicians.

Violinist / Researcher in Neapolitan music of the eighteenth century

Born in Naples, M°Alberto Vitolo he took his first steps in to the world of music as treble voice at San Carlo Opera House. Graduated from the Music Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples , with Angelo Gaudino,disciple of Alberto Curci. He later attended courses in Fiesole e Palermo , bringing to completion his studies in Symphony Chamber with Giuseppe Prencipe and Angelo Faja and Chamber Orchestra with music Carlo Pozzi, Giacinto Caramia and Trio di Trieste. Following his first experiences wistra. He participated in various tours in Italy and Europe. He also took courses in chamber music with Daniel Gaj, and an International Course in Excth Italian Orchestra of Fiesole and Orchestra da Camera Siciliana of Palermo , he has performed with: Alessandro Scarlatti Orchestra, Italian International Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Naples, Sophia Festival Orcheellence,  in Sulmona, with Tchaikovsky Trio.

His recordings for R.A.I., Italian TV and Broadcasting Corporation, include Trio in Sol Minor of Smetana; in duo and trio performances he won numerous national competitions that led to an intense activity in Italy and abroad. He has dedicated many years to the study and research of unpublished or rarely performed works of the School of the eighteenth century Neapolitan music, by editing and revising transcripts, and in collaboration with International Institute of Naples, Domenico Scarlatti has Brought to light innumerable masterpieces of That School; such as, the Requiem of Nicholas Jommelli (1997 Aversa International Conference), Symphony 'Venice' by Pasquale Anfossi, Whose evinces Mozart's Andante plagiarism Referred to on the front page of La Stampa of Turin, The Times of London, as well as on all national and foreign press. To celebrate the bicentennial of the 1799 Neapolitan Revolution, organized and sponsored by the Assessorship for the Identity of the City of Naples, he edited the revision and the production of the drama “I Pittagorici”, music by Giovanni Paisiello and libretto by Vincenzo Monti, to commemorate the victims of the revolution. He revised a number of unpublished pieces including a Concert for flute and strings by Nicola Logroscino, and the Third Choir from the Sacrifice of Abraham for choir and organ by Domenico Cimarosa, performed at Court Theatre Royal Palace of Naples, in memory of Anatoly Solovianenko, the Ukrainian tenor, as part of the International Festival of the Eighteenth Century Neapolitan Music, Naples, on the 2nd of December 1999, sponsored by the Italian Premiership, European Parliament and Campania Region. He discovered, revised and transcribed a Symphony for two lyres and orchestra, attributed to WA. Mozart, performed at the Festival of Music, in Paris. As maestro concertante of the Chamber Orchestra of Naples, he revised and recorded the CD “Sinfonie Napolitane”, a collection of new unpublished symphonies of the eighteenth century Neapolitan masters (-Before Concert, Recording Company) .

In April 2004, he revised, recorded and performed Missa Solemnis in D Major by Nicholas Jommelli with Sofia Festival Orchestra, as first violin and maestro concertante.

M°Vitolo is the Artistic Director of Associazione Musicale Reggina Domenico Scarlatti of Reggio Calabria and Rome, Italy. He is the Artistic Director of the concert series 'Romatinèe Musical' and 'Italian sonorities in the world' in Rome.

Since 2008, he is Assistant Director of the Neapolitan Music Society of New York, carrying on several tours in America, in the cities of Albany and New York, with concerts and conferences.

He is the concertmaster of the newly formed “Neapolitan Symphony Orchestra” of New York and the only Italian, together with M º Gioacchino ITS driver Longobardi.

The prestigious event, opening the activities of the Orchestra, took place at Jack Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NY, with a concert presenting works by XVIII Century Neapolitan Masters, almost all unedited and world premiere.

At Casa Italian Zerilli-Marim, NYU, the event was presented by Prof. Robert O. Gjerdingen, of Northwestern University, Chicago, one of the leading scholars in the XVIII Century Neapolitan School.

In November 2009 Master Vitolo was again invited by the McCallum Academy to hold another masterclass to his youth orchestra; in March 2010 is back in America, this time in the city of Albany, invited by Albany High School to keep a master on his 700 Neapolitan youth orchestra. orchestra has performed, at the end of the course, W E Hachett the Performing Arts Center in Albany, NY in a concert on the treasures of Naples ‘700.
